About Cabinteely Athletic Club
We are a volunteer led athletic club based at the track in Kilbogget Park. Refounded in 2010, we are the home club of the park and our athletes range from 8 years upwards and we train at the track all year round thanks to our portable track lights which are now a familiar sight to the walkers and other runners in the park. Today we have over 300 members and 50 volunteers helping keep our club going.
We are well known in the community helping to serve the broader needs through our volunteer work at charity and fundraiser events as well as having strong linkages to local schools helping children develop a love of athletics through our club activities and support of the Primary School Track and Field program sponsored by DLR.
